Shrirang took over the reins from his father Shri Kisanlal Bastiram Sarda at the age of 21, post his MBA from Rochester University, USA. While ensuring process innovations in the existing businesses and making forays into new unchartered territory led the organisation to deliver a 4x growth in profits for last 7 years.

 

First came Retail, the target was to build the first shopping complex and the biggest mall in Nashik which has become a destination point. The Farm to home dairy business, with an extreme strong focus on quality of products and service is today an enviable niche venture and growing at a blistering pace. Shrirang has always guided the organisation to stay ahead of the curve, whether introducing computers way back in 1984 or making investments in yet unheard of businesses and processes.

 

Shrirang is an avid reader and juggles between his kindle, iPad and books, and every now and then sneaks out at dawn, for a game of Golf.

Sidharth, an alumnus of Harvard Business School and St. Xavier’s Kolkata is a young, seasoned and dynamic entrepreneur with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and corporate best practices.

In a career spanning over 15 years, he has donned various hats, within several wings of the Primarc Group. Being the Managing Director of Primarc, he assesses, understands and develops consumer insights into meaningful businesses for the group.

A fervent angel investor, Sidharth believes in entrepreneurship and supports startups, guides early stage investments and offers support & mentorship to startups. Sidharth is a part of several start up forums and was the President of Calcutta Angels (2016-17).

· Primarc Story Venture (P) Ltd: An avid reader and booklover, he founded the Crossword bookstore in Bengal. The business is now operating under the STORY brand in Kolkata.

· Primarc Retail Store: As the Director of Primarc Retail Store (Raymond and Apparel business), Sidharth has contributed towards the expansion of the Raymond textiles business, currently the Group has extended their presence to 37 apparel and textile stores across the country.

E-retail:

· Sidharth has also co-founded Primarc Pecan, the omni-channel logistics venture which focuses on the e-retail, distribution, web stores and private labels.

 

Bansal an engineering graduate, an enterprising techno-commercial leader, has 27 years of experience in the real estate industry and has led Unity Group to be one of the leading Real Estate Companies in Delhi. His core strength lies in retail planning and zoning, architectural direction, project execution and construction technology.

Under his leadership, Unity Group has developed and delivered more than 10 million sq. ft. of Developments in Delhi which include multiple retail and commercial developments and currently working on more than 20 million sq. ft. of Real Estate Projects in Delhi including one of the biggest residential projects in Delhi, one of the biggest commercial projects in Delhi and one of the biggest private healthcare projects in Delhi.

Bansal also is an avid reader and traveler, has a very strong business sense & a foresight that keeps him ahead in the changing times.

Dr. Manish Pande, Director & Head of Project Analysis and Documentation (PAD) Division, Quality Council of India (QCI)

Dr. Manish Pande is presently the Director & Head of Project Analysis and Documentation Division (PAD Division) at Quality Council of India (QCI), an independent autonomous body set up by Government of India. A sustainability practitioner in leadership roles for over two decades, Dr. Pande has been the first Chair of the multi-lateral NPIC Network of the UNFSS.

Dr. Pande has done his Doctorate from Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education. Furthermore, he has published numerous studies and papers in peer-reviewed journals, including UNCTAD Research Paper on India’s landscape with respect to voluntary standard. Prior to joining QCI in 2012, he has worked in SGS India Pvt. Ltd. as Head – Government and Forestry Services. He has been invited as speaker on many International Forums such as UNFSS, UNCTAD, T4SD, FAO and was also the visiting member, Conformity Assessment Committee (CACO), African Organization for Standardization (ARSO).

At QCI, he is leading flagship governmental and intergovernmental initiatives such as the India National Platform on Private Sustainability Standards, Design & Development of conformity assessment frameworks for schemes such as – UAS (Drones) for the DGCA, Medicinal Plants for the NMPB, Forest Certification for MoEF&CC, HRAA for the FSSAI, ABS for the NBA, Cyber Security for the NCIIPC, Digital Readiness Certification (DRC) for smooth on-boarding on ONDC, Yoga Certification for the (MoAY) and Conformity Assessment Framework to Build Digital Competencies for NeGD. He is empanelled as expert member of various technical committees and working groups of Schemes that are run by the Government of India and its associate bodies namely, BIS, MoEF&CC, EPCH etc.

Dr. Gibson G. Vedamani is a Retail industry professional with extensive experience in Apparel & Lifestyle and Food retailing. He is the Managing Director of Heavenly Foods Pvt. Ltd., a Quick Service Restaurant & Food company, under the Aachi Group, Chennai.Dr. Vedamani was the founding CEO of Retailers’ Association of India (RAI), Mumbai and he played a key role in establishing RAI in India as the country’s recognized professional retail body. He has worked in significant positions in renowned retail organizations like Bata, Shoppers’ Stop, Piramyd and Reliance Webstore.

Dr. Vedamani currently serves on the Boards of a few organizations including Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (NSDC Nominee) and he is a Member of the National Council of Retailers’ Association of India, Mumbai.

 

FT Prabodh S. Halde, Head Regulatory Marico, Chairman CASMB and AIFPA, Western Region

Dr. Prabodh S. Halde is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in various industries, including food processing, quality systems, and regulatory affairs. Currently, he serves as the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Marico Ltd., overseeing domestic and international business. Previously, he worked with Coca-Cola and ACC Ltd.

As a renowned expert in food safety and regulations, Dr. Halde has held key positions in several organizations. He is the Chairman of the Advancement of Small and Medium Businesses (CASMB) and the All India Food Processors’ Association (AIFPA), Western Region. He has also served as President of AFST India and is a Joint Secretary of the Solvent Extractors Association (SEA) India.

Dr. Halde is a respected trainer and speaker, having delivered over 300 seminars and 80 webinars, addressing more than 80,000 students and members. He has organized over 200 conferences and trained over 2,000 food safety officers. As an approved Master Trainer from FSSAI and FDA, he has supported over 150 food startups.

His academic contributions include authoring four technical books and a motivational book, “Prabodhika,” with its fifth edition inaugurated by the President of India. Dr. Halde has published numerous articles in scientific journals and newsletters.

Awards and recognition include two Best Employee Awards at Coca-Cola, seven Value Awards at Marico Ltd., and several national and international awards. He represented India six times at Codex meetings and was part of the PMO visit to Tajikistan in 2015.

Dr. Halde serves on various boards and committees, including CSIR-CFTRI Mysore, SEA Regulatory and Legal Cell, and Udaan Welfare Foundation. His expertise in food laws, FSMS, HACCP, and food processing has made him a sought-after expert in the industry.

Suhas has been involved with system certification and advisory services for last 21 years. He is a multifaceted professional. Suhas is also a promoter director for a manufacturing company involved in Health Foods. The company is involved in manufacture of various types of biscuits and bakery products. Suhas was involved with plant design and erection in compliance with FDA requirements and industry practices. He is routinely involved with development of new products and manufacturing operations. The company markets its products in domestic market and also exports its products. He has keen interest in organic farming and has focused himself in health foods for infants and old age.
Suhas was instrumental in developing a Business Excellence Model for an international miner head quartered in Antwerp with an objective to raise the performance level of the Indian Jewelry and Diamond manufacturers and retailers. The model addressed the various parameters for improved performance. The model has been accepted by more than 85 industries.
Suhas has also authored a business model viz. Trust Maturity Model for Gem and Jewelry Sector. The model is published by Gem and Jewelry Federation in Sep 2013 and many businesses have started implementing the same.
Suhas has demonstrated the effective way of implementing ISO 9000 and 14000 both as an assessor as well as an implementer. Again he is one of the most respected assessors in the field of Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environment Management System (ISO 14001), Occupational Health and Safety Series (OHSAS 18001), Services Management (ISO 20000), Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) and Energy Management System (ISO 50001). Suhas is also qualified for carrying out BRC audits. Suhas was involved with three certifying bodies as Director of the firm and have been the core resource for the accreditation.
Suhas was working with Chemical industry leaders in the Pilot plant studies, Production, Technical services and Effluent management in the pigments, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, bio-fertilizers, printing inks and plastic molding sectors. Suhas was a member of multi product agrochemical production plant commissioning team. He has also experience in printing inks and resin plants from the project stage and was involved in project feasibility studies, factory layout, equipment planning and sourcing etc.
He has carried out more than 4000 audits in India and abroad in various sectors. Suhas has worked on 6 CDM projects involving energy conservation, alternate energy generation, bio-waste. He also consults on ISO 14064 and ISO 14046. He is IRCA approved tutor for Lead Auditor courses for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and has conducted more than 15 LA courses.
