Anantha Prabhu has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate in Industrial Metallurgy. He has around 27 years of work experience in various fields comprising of Engineering Education, Banking,Manufacturing, Energy Conservation, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Quality Management, New product development, Value Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Management System Certification Services and related training, international services, and operations.

Presently he is employed with Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC) as General Manager, Training Services, South Asia Region & Global Accreditation, IRCA. He is qualified as Lead Auditor and Tutor for ISO 9001, 14001, BS OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001 and ISO / TS 16949 & ISO 55001.He is also IRCA Qualified Lead Tutor for QMS,EMS & OHSAS and EnMS (ISO 50001), Tutor for more than 40 different training courses of BVCI, including Integrated Management Systems, ISO/TS 16949:2009 etc.

He has conducted over 1000 days of 3 rd party audits and 200 lead auditor training courses on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001 training in India, USA, Africa and Europe.

He has technical expertise in the areas of New Product Development and import substitution in high alloy Steel for automotive application, Energy conservation projects (Waste heat recovery in Rolling mill furnaces, Electric Arc Furnaces, Tundish and Ladles, heat treatment furnaces). Product and application engineering.

He has techno commercial experience in the areas of key customer account handling. marketing strategy, corporate planning, new business development, customer service and customer engagement.

Hands on experience in implementation of QMS, EMS, TS 16949, & Occupational Health and Safety Management System in the industry.

His last assignment before joining BVC in 2006 was Chief of Marketing Strategy and New Product Development at Mukand Ltd.
