AJAY BIJLI

Mr. Ajay Bijli, Chairman & Managing Director, PVR Limited and Harvard Business School alumni (1999), pioneered the concept of multiplex cinemas in India with Priya Village Roadshow (PVR). Over the past decade, Mr. Bijli has spearheaded PVR into a full fledged entertainment company and established it as a strong brand associated with movies. A strategic and innovative thinker, he was recognized as the ‘Young Global Leader’ in 2007 by the World Economic Forum. He is Member, Central Board of Film Certification, Government of India. He was also awarded ‘Delhi Ratna’ by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2005.
