Mr. P. Jayakumar is a result oriented professional with 25 years of rich experience in Pharmacy Retail. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration –Operations and is a Pharmacy Graduate. He heads Apollo Pharmacy – India’s largest Pharmacy Retail Chain business which is contributing 50% of the Organised Pharma Retail market share in India having 21000+ workforce.

-Spearheading business operations for 3500 + Store across the country which serves about 400000 customers on a daily basis
-Work closely with the core team & management on strategies, plans, goals and future innovations to guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of operations.
-Possess excellent Interpersonal, Analytical and Negotiation Skills with proven track record of utilizing a process-oriented approach towards the accomplishment of Cost, Profit & Organizational goals.

He Persistently played a key role in designing, piloting and implementing different retail formats during the last 2 decades to cope-up with the changing retail trends. He has assisted Apollo pharmacy Retail in marking its presence in 21 States and 500 Cities. Contributed in framing strategies on Rolling out in top 100 developing cities in the country. He has formulated strategies in reaching out to the unexplored market segments / customer groups for business expansion. Business transformation: Hands on experience in working with various consultant firms like
Mckinsey, Technopak, ATkerney for business transformation. He was honored with “The Apollo Outstanding Leader of the year Award” in 2012.
