Dr. A. Didar Singh, Secretary General of FICCI is a former civil servant who retired as Secretary to Government of India.

Besides a Bachelors and Masters from Delhi University and an additional Masters from Birmingham University, UK he also has a PhD in e-Commerce. Dr Singh is an internationally known expert in e-Commerce, Trade and Migration and has been a consultant for several international agencies, including the International Trade Centre; World Health Organization; and South Centre, Geneva as well as the Commonwealth Secretariat, London. He has three books and several publications to his credit.
